Sex cell is a gamete cell, used in sexual reproduction. which means that it will have half of the amount of chromosomes that other cells does, so it can merge with another sex cell and create a daughter cell (that is somatic) that has genetic material from both sex cells.
Somatic cell is every other cell, building our organs and our body, and it contains twice the amount of genetic material that's present in sex cells.
