How much longer is a 2 1/2 inch long piece of string then a 2/5 inch long piece of string? Please answer soon!!!

it would be 2 1/10. this is because you change the 2 1/2 into an improper fraction getting 5/2. After finding the common denominator you'd get 21/10. then divide it getting 2 1/10. Hope this helps! :D
