Let the total number of caramel purchased = x

0.25x + ( 0.5 X 2 ) = 6$
0.25x + 1 = 6
0.25x = 6 - 1
0.25x = 5
Divide both sides by 0.25, we get
x = 20 ( Total no. of caramels )

So Total no. of candies = Caramel + Fudge = 20 + 2 = 22
Total caramel carrie receive = ( 20 - 10 ) = 10 caramel Answer
