First, it depends on the answer. If you are on the same quiz, the options should be

A) 1:3

B) 3:1

C) 1:4

D) 4:1

The answer is C or 1:4.

Because it is in it's favor, the "1" would go first, standing as the numbers before "4" on a cube. The probability in fraction form would be 3/6, or simplified to 1/2. P ( >3, > 3) = P ( >3) = 1/2 x 1/2 = 1/4. This leaves 1:4 being you're answer.

The odds of getting less than 4 on one cube is 3/6 so 1/2 and if you roll two cubes the odds are 1/2 times 1/2 so the odds of getting two numbers less than 4 is 9/36 or in simplest form, 1/4
