Given:
13 pounds and 7 ounces
convert to kilograms:
1 kilogram = 2.20462 pounds
1 kilogram = 35.274 ounces
13 pounds * 1 kg/2.20462 pounds = 13 kg/2.20462 = 5.8967 kg
7 ounces * 1kg/35.274 ounces = 7 kg/35.274 = 0.1984
5.8967 kg + 0.1984 =
6.0951 kg. rounded up to 6.10 kgs.
