5÷3.00 = .60 each
2 quarters and 1 dime

They share 3$, so each have one dollar. So, coin wise, you'll get four quarters for a dollar, Since they each have a dollar, they will get 12 quarters in total. So, 12/3 = 4. They will have 4 quarters each.
