a vender sold 156 sodas and hot dogs combined
sodas=s hot dogs=h
s=2×h
156 = (2×h) + h
h = 52
156 = (2×52) + 52
156 = 104 + 52
s=104
the vender sold 104 sodas and 52 hot dogs
