3 hours at 55 miles per hour ; 165 miles traveled
2 hours at 70 miles per hour : 170 miles traveled
total driving time: 5 hours (2+3)
distance traveled: 335 miles ( 165+170)
average speed: 62.5 miles per hour [ ( 55 + 70 ) / 2 ]
