Area of a rectangle = width x length

Width = 7 4/5

Length = x+8

Area = 37 7/10

Replacing:

Area = width x length

Lenght = Area / width

x+8 = (37 7/10 ) / (7 4/5)

Solve for x:

x = [(37 7/10 ) / (7 4/5)] -8

Lenght = x+8 = ( [(37 7/10 ) / (7 4/5)] -8)+8 = [(area/ width)-8]+8
