The total length of three pieces of wood is 7/8 of a yard. The lengths of two of the pieces of wood are 1/4 of a yard & 3/16 of a yard. What is the length of the other piece of the wood?

if you have them all have the same denominator it would be the length of the three pieces are 14/16 and the two pieces are 4/16 and 3/16 together that makes 7/16 which would leave the last piece of wood to be 7/16
