What happens to the function when x gets close to zero?What happens to the function as y gets very large, we say x'"approaches infinity"?What happens as x gets very small (approaches -∞)?

According to the graph:

* Domain:

(-\infty,0)\cup(0,\infty)

* Range:

(-\infty,0)\cup(0,\infty)

* When x gets close to zero on the left, the function approaches negative infinity.

And when x gets close to zero on the right, the function approaches to infinity.

* When y gets very large x approaches zero.

* When x gets very small, y is close to zero.
