Explain what future employers might need or expect in a letter from you and then explain what good friends might expect. How might their expectations differ?

Employers would want a professional letter. For example, when your school principal sends a letter home to everyone in the school. But good friend would probably expect a letter that wasn't very professional and more friendly-like. Like the letters that you would send to grandma asking about how the cookies she was packing for you.
