Step-by-step explanation:

The golden age is commonly known as the Elizabethan Era in which in this period Queen Elizabeth I ruled England (1558-1603). It was considered the "Golden Age" because it was a time of immense progress stability and national pride. During this era, many things were accomplished during the reign of Queen Elizabeth I such as flourishing politically and economically. But the downfall of the Golden Age was very drastic as it ended with conflicts between Athens and Sparta that led to te 27 years long Peloponnesian War.
