`\begin{gathered} C(D)=4 \\ C(E)=2 \\ C(D* E)=4*2=8 \\ C(E* D)=2*4=8 \end{gathered}`

now to show that,

`C(D* E)=C(E* D)=C(D)\ast C(E)`

subsitute the known values as given below,

`\begin{gathered} C(D* E)=C(E* D)=C(D)\ast C(E) \\ 8=8=4*2 \\ 8=8=8 \end{gathered}`

thus, we have shown that,
