Solution

We have the following points given:

(x1 =10, y1= -28) (x2= 4, y2=-4)

We can find the slope of the line like this:

m=(y_2-y_1)/(x_2-x_1)=(-4-28)/(4-10)=(32)/(6)=(16)/(3)

And the intercept can be founded on this way:

-4=(16)/(3)(4)+b

Solving for b we got:

b=-(64)/(3)-4=-(76)/(3)

Then the equation would be:

y=(16)/(3)x-(76)/(3)
