R1 and R2 are two linear functions that present the same intercept point because both cross the y-axis at the same point. Both line expressions present a positive slope because the lines increase the y values when the x-value increases. We can also figure out that the R1 slope is bigger than the R2 slope because R1 increases faster than R2.
