Ok, so you know that the number will be 7 tens more, or 70 more, then the given number, 624. In order to find your new number, you will add 624, and 70, together, hopefully getting 694. And that will be your new number.

7 tens is equal to 70, so it's basically saying what's 70 more than 624.
To do this add 70 and 624.
This gives you 694.
