\begin{gathered} (3)/(5)(x-10)=18-4x-1 \\ (3)/(5)x-(30)/(5)=17-4x \\ \\ (3)/(5)x-6=17-4x \\ (3)/(5)x+4x-6=17-4x+4x \\ (3)/(5)x+4x-6=17 \end{gathered}

Then to isolated the variable we add 4x to both sides of the equation.

Now, to isolate the constant terms we add 6 to both sides:

\begin{gathered} (3)/(5)x+4x-6+6=17+6 \\ (3)/(5)x+4x=23 \end{gathered}
