Has 2 solutions:

x+y = 6
⇔ x = 6-y
Subtitution
So, 2x-y =3
⇔2(6-y)-y = 3
⇔12 - 2y - y = 3
⇔12 - 3y = 3
⇔9 = 3y
⇔y = 3

And, x + y = 6
⇔x + 3 =6
⇔x = 3
The solutions are⇒ x = 3 and y = 3

x+y=6,

Therefore,

y=6-x

----------------------
Therefore,

2x-(6-x)=3

2x-6+x=3

3x-6=3

3x=9

Therefore:

x=3

If x=3,

y=6-3

Therefore,

y=3
