Solution

To find the point of intersection

We equate y1 = y2

=> 6x - 3 = 7x + 4

Collecting like terms

=> 6x - 7x = 4 + 3

=> -x = 7

=> x = -7

substituting x = -7 in y1

=> y1 = 6(-7) - 3 = -42 - 3 = - 45

Hence, the point of intersection of y1 and y2 is (-7, -45)
