the number would be 625,000 because the number before 4 is 5 and number 5-9 you round up and everything behind the 4 (that is now five) will be a zero

Since the number after the 4 is 5, you add a 1 to the 4, making the answer 625. If the number after 4 had been less than 5, the 4 would have stayed the same.
