the slope of the line is m = 3

so the equation of the line is,

y = mx + c

put m = 3

y = 3x + c

also, it is passing through (-6,2)

put y = 2 and x = -6

2 = 3(-6) + c

2 = -18 + c

c = 18 + 2

c = 20

so the equation of the line is

y = 3x + 20

Also, the equation of the line is point-slope form is,

y - 2 = 3(x - (-6))

y - 2 = 3(x + 6)
