We are given the following triangle

We are interested in calculating the sine of angle B. Recall in a right triangle, the sine of angle is given by the expression


\sin (\text{angle)}=\frac{\text{length of the opposite side}}{length\text{ of the hypotenuse}}

Here, we have angle B as reference. With respect to angle B, the opposite side would be side AC. Also, in the triangle, the hypotenuse is side AB. So we have


\sin (B)=(35)/(37)
