To answer this question we will convert the 35 kilometers per hour to meters per second.

Recall that:

\begin{gathered} 1km=1000m, \\ 1h=3600s. \end{gathered}

Therefore:

35(km)/(h)=35(1000m)/(3600s).

Simplifying the above result we get:

35(km)/(h)=35(1)/(3.6)(m)/(s)\approx9.7\bar{2}(m)/(s).

Therefore, the car travels

2s*9.7\bar{2}(m)/(s)=19.\bar{4}m\approx19m

in 2 seconds.

Answer: 19meters.
