The given equation of a line is,

y=2x+4\text{ ----(1)}

The general standard equation of a line is,

y=mx+c\text{ ------(2)}

Here, m is the slope and c is the y intercept of the line.

Comparing equations (1) and (2), we get

\begin{gathered} m=2 \\ c=4 \end{gathered}

To find the x intercept of the line, put y=0 in equation (1) and solve for x.

\begin{gathered} 0=2x+4 \\ 2x=-4 \\ x=(-4)/(2) \\ x=-2 \end{gathered}

Therefore, the slope of the line is 2. The y intercept is 4 and the x intercept is -2.
