Given expression is

\sqrt[4]{2}=2^{(1)/(4)}

Among the given options the simplication that applies the power rule is

(2^{(1)/(4)})^4=2^{(1)/(4)}.2^{(1)/(4)}.2^{(1)/(4)}.2^{(1)/(4)}

This can be simplified as

2^{(1)/(4)+(1)/(4)+(1)/(4)+(1)/(4)}=2^{(4)/(4)}=2

Hence the corresponding simplification is D.
