the given temperature is C = -24 degree celcius

the expression to change degree celcius into fahrenheit is

9 C + 160

so

put C = -24

= 9 x (-24) + 160

= -216 + 160

= -56 degree fahrenheit

thus - 24 degree Celcius is equal to - 56 degree fahrenheit
