The side of hexagon is s = 3.4 cm.

The apothem is a = 2.9 cm.

The formula for the area of regular hexagon is,

A=(1)/(2)\cdot P\cdot a

Here, P is perimeter of hexagon.

Determine the perimeter of hexagon.

\begin{gathered} P=6s \\ =6\cdot3.4 \\ =20.4 \end{gathered}

Substitute the value in the area formula to obtain the area of regular hexagon.

\begin{gathered} A=(1)/(2)\cdot20.4\cdot2.9 \\ =29.58 \\ \approx29.6 \end{gathered}

So answer is 29.6 square centimeter.
