Put -0.45, 0.4, and -1 in order from least to greatest.

You need to order the following values from least to greatest:


-0.45,0.4,-1

To order negative values you have to remember that the greater the absolute value is, the smaller the negative value will be, for example:

-2 →the absolute value is |2|

-1.5 → the absolute value is |1.5|

|2| is greater than |1.5| which means that -2 is less than -1.5

And remember that the negative values are always less than the positive values.

With this in mind

-1 → |1|

-0.45 → |0.45|

|1|>|0.45| then -1<-0.45

The smaller values is -1, the next one is -0.45 and the greates is 0.4


-1,-0.45,0.4
