In a parallelogram the diagonals bisct each other. Then:


14=4x-2

Use the equation above to find the value of x:


\begin{gathered} 14+2=4x-2 \\ 16=4x \\ (16)/(4)=x \\ \\ 4=x \end{gathered}

To find the meaure of the angles you need to know the next about the angles formed by the diagonals in a parallelogram:

Angles in blue are congruent

Angles in green are congruent
