Emily makes 250 grams of a snack mixture.

15% of the weight is raisins, 25% is banana chips and the rest is peanuts.

how many grams of peanuts does she use?

150 grams. Find the percentage of the mixture that is peanuts(which is 60%) and multiply it by the amount of the mixture(250 • 60% = 150)

150 grams of peanuts. 15 + 25 is 40. That means that 40% of the snack is banana chips and raisins. It also means that 60% of the snack mixture is peanuts. To figure out how many grams of peanuts she uses you have to do 250 x .60 and get 150.
