Isolate y on the left side:
- Move 4x to the right side
- Then divide the entire equation by 5

This gives you:

y = -
(4)/(5)x - 3

This gives you the equation in the familiar (y = ax + b) format. Graph this by finding your intercepts.
- Crosses the y-axis when you put 0 in for x --> y = -3
- Crosses the x-axis when you put 0 in for y --> x = -
(15)/(4)

Then just draw your straight line through both points.
