Fractions: Multiplying mixed (a whole number with a fraction) numbers

How do I do this? Explain VERY clearly because math confuses me...

You must change the whole number into an improper fraction. Just for an example, if you were told to solve 5 x 1/5, you must make 5 an improper fraction, which is 5/1. Then you just multiply the fractions to get 1.
