How does a temperate rain forest differ from a taiga?

In a temperate rain forest, the forest floor is covered with ferns, mosses, and small plants. Mosses and lichens also grow on the tree trunks and rocks.

Taiga's don't have as many plant and animal species as a temperate rain forest. A temperate rain forest receives more moisture than the taiga
