note: 0.5v^1/3=(0.5) times (v^1/3)
pemdas
parenthasees (none)
exponents v^1/3
multiply 0.5 times (v^1/3)

so
x^(z/t)=
\sqrt[t]{x^z}

so v^1/3=
\sqrt[3]{v^1} or \sqrt[3]{v}

the multiply by 0.5
0.5 times
\sqrt[3]{v} or more commonly written

0.5
\sqrt[3]{v}
