It solve by PV=nRT 300×10^3×250×10^-6=n×8×300 And so on

Answer : The number of moles of
N_2 are, 0.03 mole

Solution :

Using ideal gas equation,

PV=nRT

where,

P = pressure of the gas = 300 kpa = 2.96 atm

conversion : 1 atm = 101.325 kpa

V = volume of the gas = 250 ml = 0.250 L

conversion : 1 L = 1000 ml

T = temperature of the gas = 300 K

R = universal gas constant = 0.0821 Latm/moleK

n = number of moles of gas

Now put all the given values in the above formula, we get the number of moles of gas.

2.96atm* 0.250L=n* 0.0821Latm/moleK* 300K

n=0.03mole

Therefore, the number of moles of
N_2 are, 0.03 mole
