Given ΔABC and ΔDEF, to determine the congruence between both triangles you have to compare the corresponding sides and angles if they are equal, then you can conclude that the triangles are congruent.

The corresponding sides BC and EF have one tick mark each, this indicates that both sides are equal. Then: BC=EF

The corresponding angles are

∠B and ∠E

∠C and ∠F

The four angles have the same mark, this would also suggest that they are congruent.

If so, we can conclude that:

∠B=∠E

∠C=∠F

Both pairs of corresponding angles are equal as well as the sides between them, so you can say that ΔABC and ΔDEF are congruent by Angle-Side-Angle or ASA
