The answer is B.138 ft

The perimeter of the triangle with sides a, b, and c is:
P = a + b + c

We know:
a = 40 ft
b = 41 ft
c = ?

According to the Pythagorean theorem:
c² = a² + b²
c² = 40² + 41²
c² = 1600 + 1681
c² = 3281
c = √3281
c ≈ 57 ft

P = a + b + c
P = 40 + 41 + 57
P = 138 ft
