Two figures that have the same shape are said to be similar. When two figures are similar, the ratios of the lengths of their corresponding sides are equal. We calculate as follows:

3.9 / 1.3 = 9.6 / b
b = 9.6 x 1.3 / 3.9
b = 3.2
