6 Roses would be bought, and 9 Daisies would be bought.
6*3= 18
9*1= 9
18+9= 27 27 being the money you started with.

Answer ). The roses bought cost $18

d + 3r = 27
d = r + 3

(r + 3) + 3r = 27
4r + 3 = 27
4r = 27 - 3
4r = 24
r = 24/4
r = 6 ...so he bought 6 roses...at $ 3 each...so he spend $18 on roses
