6/7 = x/14
14 14 (multiply both sides by 14)
12 = x
So, simply your answer is 12 = x

x=12
cross multiply the 6 and 14 to get 84
then the 7 and the x to get 7x
set them equal to eachother 7x=84
divide 7 by bothe sides to get 12
