write an equation in slope intercept form of the line with y-intercept -6 and parallel to a line perpendicular to 5x+6y-13=0

y=6/5x+13/6 since you turn the equation into slope inetercept form, then since it has to be perpendicular, your slope will be the opposite reciporacal of -5/6 so you would have a slope of 6/5
