1. A. the person is named to the bench by the president and confirmed by the senate.

During the confirmation process, the senate would ask various questions regarding how the judge would interpret a certain type of case. After that, the senate would conduct a vote to whether or not accept the application with simple majority rule.

2. C. the supreme court supports the right of citizens to have a handgun in their home if they are using it for self-defense

Some concerns regarding ownership of a gun is that it might fall to hand of psychologically unfit owners and they might use is for doing bad deeds. But, if in general, as long as the gun is used for protection/self-defense, it can be considered as a handful tool at citizens' disposal.

3.B a civilian tribunal the reviews verdicts rendered by military courts-martial.

This mean that for members of armed force, there is a different standard of regulation applied to judge their misconducts compared to normal citizens. On average their punishment tend to be stricter due to their status as a part of national defense department.

4. C court of international trade

The court of international trade regulate the activities between two nations that initiated in order to achieve common economic benefit from their transactions. The judges who oversee this court in united states are members of the federal court.

5. D. can only sue the government in limited cases already approved by congress.

In general, every violation to the basic human rights that written under the constitution are approved by the congress and can be used to sue the government, Otherwise the case would not be able to reach federal court since it cannot pass through the state court.

6. A the local courts in the 50 states

The term territorial court is used in the past but not so much today. The jurisdiction of a territorial court was similar to the state court, but their cases do not cover as much variety as the cases that can be handled in the state court.
