SOLUTION

Concept: graph of polynomials functions

The graph of the functions cut the x-axis at three different points from the left they are given as

x=-2,x=1,x=2

then the factor of the function becomes

(x+2)(x-1)(x-2)

Simplifying further by applying difference of two squares the function becomes

f(x)=(x-1)(x^2-4)

Therefore the right option is 3
