you could invite 16 people and have money left over.

The answer is 16 $3.50 plus $2.20 =$5.70 $5.70 times 16 =91.2 16 is the answer because you only have $95 , you can't invite more than 16 people, you can't invite 17 because it would have been a total of $97 .
