The complete predicate of a sentence tells what the subject does or is. It includes a verb and all other details that describe what is going on. example: My father fixed the dryer. The simple predicate is the main verb in the predicate that tells what the subject does.i hope i helped :)

The simple predicate in a sentence is the main verb in a sentence, and it tells what the subject is does or is doing. Example Joe is walking to the store. Walking would be the simple predicate. What is Joe doing? Walking. Hope I helped.
