Find the slope of a line that passes through (-2, -3) and (1, 1)

Since the slope formula is:
Y2-Y1
m=---------
X2-X1
you would plug it in and it would be
1-(-3) 1+3 4
m= --------- = ------ = -----
1-(-2) 1+2 3
4
so the slope of the line is ---
3
