A) the amount of petes recipe is equal to 2.5 times 2.25 and every time you multiply you get a bigger number

The answer is A. Sam's recipe uses less flour than Pete's becuase Pete is using 2 1/4 multiplied by 2 1/2 (Sam's) so it will be more than Sam's.
