a) sin 30 = x/24

x = 24 sin 30

x = 24(0.5)

x = 12

b) B = 90°

A = 45°

C = 45°

\begin{gathered} \text{ sin 45 = }\frac{x}{18\sqrt[]{2}} \\ \text{ x = 18}\sqrt[]{2}\text{ }\frac{\sqrt[]{2}}{2} \\ \text{ x = 18}(2)/(2) \\ \text{ x = 18} \end{gathered}

the length = 18 units
