First of all, Valentines Day is occured in February 14. It is to show people's love and compassion between others. Stores, like Macy's, are Open all day for Valentine's Day Gifts. People want to take leverage of the whole day.]
Hope this helps

People celebrate Valentines Day to show their love and compassion to one another. Its a special day where people share their true feelings and love for a specific person such as a family member or a friend.
